How much does a cull hunt cost?
Our Cull Package is $2,950 for 5 days, 6 nights. It includes designated cull animals from the species listed in the package table.
Cull hunting has a different purpose from trophy hunting, and cull fees apply specifically to those animals. We can explain the available opportunities and put together the arrangements for your visit.
Our article on cull hunting packages in Africa covers this type of hunt in more detail.
Can you extend or change your package?
Yes. Our packages are a starting point, and we can adapt them around your plans.
A longer stay is no problem. We can add hunting days, discuss changes to your species list, and welcome non-hunting companions too. Your quotation brings those arrangements together, with the additions clearly priced.
You will have a safari built around what you want from your time at Rocklands, with our team helping you put it together.
What is separate from the package price?
Some parts of your trip are charged separately:
- Flights and hotel stays before or after the safari.
- Additional animals outside your package.
- Firearm rental and ammunition.
- Non-hunting companions.
- Sightseeing and excursions.
- Gratuities for your professional hunter and staff.
- Taxidermy, dipping and packing, trophy export, insurance, and freight.
Wounded animals are also charged in full under our hunting terms.
We explain the inclusions and separate charges when arranging your safari, so you have a clear picture before you arrive.
Does Rocklands do taxidermy?
We prepare your trophies in the field, but we don’t provide taxidermy. Mounting and other taxidermy work are carried out by a separate provider.
Those services, along with trophy export and shipping, are outside your hunting package. Their prices reflect the trophies involved, the work selected, and where they are being sent.
Can your partner or family join you?
Absolutely. Non-hunting companions are welcome at Rocklands, and we can include their stay in your safari arrangements.
You don’t all have to spend your days the same way. While you are hunting, your companions can enjoy their stay at the lodge, and we can discuss outings and activities for them.
We will include their accommodation and any agreed extras in your quotation, making it easy to see the arrangements for everyone travelling with you.
